Julie Mahdavi's journey is one of cultural fusion and professional excellence. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to a French mother and American-Iranian father, she embarked on a transatlantic life from an early age. At the age of 4, Julie relocated to Paris, immersing herself in the vibrant culture of the City of Light. It wasn't until her final two years of high school, spent on Cape Cod, that she returned to the USA, where her roots lay.
Julie's academic pursuits reflect her diverse upbringing and passion for innovation. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Later, she pursued a Master's in Fashion Studies from The New School for Design in New York City. Her thesis delved into the intersection of fashion and disabilities, pioneering new insights into the aesthetic and functionality of bionic limbs.
For years, Julie has served as a project manager, working in tandem with marketing and digital retail. While her professional journey primarily unfolded in New York City and after the last three years in Paris, Julie recently decided to return to her roots in Boston to be closer to family. Her career path has been marked by a commitment to bridging cultural gaps and driving digital innovation.
Her expertise lies in project management, e-commerce operations and marketing, honed through years of experience at esteemed fashion institutions such as Chanel, Dover Street Market, Care+Wear, Saks Fifth Avenue, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, and Jimmy Choo, Anthropologie and Vanessa Bruno.
